LibreOffice: UI theme works when opening via Nemo, but not PCmanFM

Hi everyone,

minor annoyance: when opening any office file with LibreOffice via Nemo, the dark theme is respected (even though some UI text is printed in black - that's also annoying, but unrelated I guess):

When opening via my beloved PCManFM or Thunar, a rather ugly generic grey-white 90s theme is used:

The process list shows that both command-lines are identical. When opening a file with either of the file managers, keeping it open, then use another FM to open another file, the same theming as the first one is used.

I guess it's something related to the environment, but couldn't figure out what exactly.

Libreoffice decides which theme to use based on desktop environment .
The black theme from starting thorugh nemo is probably your gtk3 theme, while the other is the generic theme* .

*I know the generic theme well, as it's my favorite (for 20+ years). I find it functional, fast, simple and non-distracting.
