[SOLVED] lib32-zlib missing

Newbie here.. with Linux and Arch.
I managed to install arch and have been running it for the past months..
I am in need of davinci-resolve for video editing.
Tried to install it with "paru -S davinci-resolve" and got 'lib32-zlib (wanted by: davinci-resolve -> lib32-libpng12)'.
It seems I am missing the lib32-zlib.  My issue is that I can't find it anywhere.
"paru -Ss lib32-zlib" gives me nothing.
"paru -Ss zlib" give me 'core/zlib 1:1.2.11-4 [81.49KiB 333.56KiB] [Installed]'..

Any help is much appreciated..

PS: Thank you for Arch which the best system I have been using those past months and being a newbie I have been distro hopping like crazy.

Re: [SOLVED] lib32-zlib missing

Apologies, forgot to mentioned. I do.
Also found the package on the forum I just signed up too --> https://archlinux.org/packages/multilib … ib32-zlib/
Now, I believe I need to compile the library ?  Never done that before..

No you need to install that package, after having enabled multilib you should be able to install it with a normal

pacman -Syu lib32-zlib

Re: [SOLVED] lib32-zlib missing

Ok, now discovered something and probably the root cause of my issue.
when I run 'sudo pacman -Sy multilib' I am getting 'error: target not found: multilib'.
When I looked in pacman.conf, it seems I have the multilib repo enabled.

[multilib]
Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

Re: [SOLVED] lib32-zlib missing

Ok. Just ran 'pacman -Syu lib32-zlib' and it now seems installed. Apologies for all of it. This had troubled me for about a week without any resolve..
