[SOLVED] stuck and unreadable output at triggering uevents

Hi all,

yes, I just started my Linux journey and am a noob (trying to build a system with dual boot windows and arch). So:

Prepared partitions (windows installed first) and flash drive, booted from the latter, but it gets stuck right away (please see here: https://ibb.co/zQT2ZF6)

Triggering uevents... is the last readable line, then I get some unreadable output as seen at the bottom of the screenshot; then it gets stuck completely.

My specs: Ryzen 5 5600X, UTF Gaming B550 Plus, GeForce RTX 3060 TI

Can someone point me in the direction of finding a solution? Thanks!!!

Use nomodeset on the kernel parameters: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Kernel_parameters to get into a bootable system and install the prop nvidia drivers into your actual system.

Use nomodeset on the kernel parameters: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Kernel_parameters to get into a bootable system and install the prop nvidia drivers into your actual system.

i'll look into that tomorrow and report back if it worked (that is, if i managed to make it work)
