HP Omen 15-EN0002NP ACPI Errors

Hey, I just got my new laptop, an HP Omen 15-EN0002NP. I try to boot up the laptop using an arch bootable iso, however I am slightly concerned at the ACPI Errors.

`dmesg | grep Error` returns this:

ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Failure creating named object [\SMIB], AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20210105/dsfield-637)

This part should be fine, according to certain forums

ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\_SB.C10.GPP4.WLAN], AE_NOT_FOUND (29219195/dsuload2-162)

ACPI Error: AE_NOT_FOUND, While resolving a named reference package element - \_PR_.P00F 20210105/dspkginit-438)
RAS: Corectable Errors collector initialized.

This however could be an issue, right? What should I do about it? Should I be trying to fix this? How?

Oh, and when I unplug the laptop, I get a bunch of errors, most of which are

nouveau 0000:01:00.0: timer: stalled at ffffffffffffffffff

(note, I'm not sure how many Fs there are..)

Re: HP Omen 15-EN0002NP ACPI Errors

See https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=222409 and numerous similar threads for kernels 4.9 and more recent.
If the issue is in the parsing of the ACPI tables supplied by the firmware the kernel developers can fix that.  They can not fix firmware providing tables that contain errors according to the specifications.
You could try updating the system's firmware.

If there is no impact on functionality,  I would ignore it.

Please start a new thread for the nouveauo issue code-of-conduct.md#how-to-post.
Please also do not post grepped outputs as it removes context.  Although in this case it is not important beyond removing the kernel version.

Ah thank you for pointing me to the right directions, I will not post the grepped outputs further! Is there some sort of way I can close this post?
