Good question.
First, lets start with audacious, I use to for when I click music in konqueror, quick testing.
Second, mocp, I use it for as you see radio stations, or for looking through music folders while I have a list in mpd.
Third, ncmpc, my normal playlist, the one I use most often.

But most of the time I don't really use mocp. But ya I'm fairly weird. But as you can see i have 1 gig of ram so it doesn't bother me. smile

You can do all of that with mpd.

Gimme a pm or start another topic if you wanna know how big_smile

Most of the scripts used can be found in my svn repo.

Nice stuff, I especially like the script to resize the background.

Even more evidence people need to learn perl whether they like it or not.  So easy to do stuff when you can just Do::Anything.

I like Perl. One of the easier languages out there, IMHO. And sigils make types sort of clear, which is nice.

There shouldn't be any reason to learn more editor types than emacs or vi -- mg (1)

Looks really nice. Can anyone tell me how I can display the processes like that? Saw it plenty of times yet.

And last but not least: How is the package called containing ssinfo?

xfce4, murrine/neographite, conky, adesklets, etc.

i fixed the bad gradient on the top and bottom of the think linux wallpaper from gnome-look.org, but it's still only 1024x768 so it's a little fuzzy. maybe a better one next month. tongue

xterminus: can you kill apps from that processes menu? would it work in xfce4, or is it only for *boxes?

Still a pretty simplistic Flux setup.  I'd like to change to a sort of high contrast theme with only white/black (white base color, black font/etc.), but I haven't been able to find a matching wallpaper that I like.   :?
