BIOS/Start Menu/systemd-boot screens don't show up

Hi, so I've been using Arch on my [HP ProBook 650 G2] for a while now, and I've never encountered this bug. Basically, when starting I'm usually greeted with the HP logo for a few seconds, giving me the chance to hit Escape and get to the BIOS menu for starting USBs and whatnot. However, I no longer get the logo, and it appears that systemd-boot has disappeared (atleast the menu, giving me boot options). I haven't done anything crazy with the laptop recently, except plug in an SSD SATA via USB. I doubt this has much to do with it, but it might be useful to know.

Thanks

Note: I've used the SSD with USB before, and it had no issues with the BIOS or anything like that.

All of this is pre-Arch and you need to check your UEFI settings so that the correct device is considered as primary/the main partition to boot.

I would do this, but I can't get to the BIOS menu to change any of that.

when you're booted into arch, you can enter the following to force the computer into rebooting to uefi screen:

systemctl reboot --firmware-setup

It just sits at a black screen and does nothing. This is what happens when I press escape while it's booting.

Re: BIOS/Start Menu/systemd-boot screens don't show up

UPDATE: I figured it out. There was no issue with BIOS, it was due to my laptop looking for a monitor that wasn't plugged in. Basically, it tried to display the menu on the nonexistant monitor, and after messing around with xrandr and a few things, it worked fine. Thanks!
