Protonvpn login everytime

I'm running Arch Linux on two of my systems: one with Gnome and another one with xfce4. No doubt xfce4 nails it, but getting back to the point,

I've to log in into the Protonvpn app everytime I use it on xfce4 which is not the case with Gnome environment. Plus with every connection it demands my openvpn password. Also, it is not the problem with Gnome environment. Considering the light nature of xfce4 environment, I'm assuming it has to do with some missing package. I'll really appreciate if you can point me in the right direction.

Also, new here in the forum, so cut me some slack:-)
