Hi all, brand new to the forums just to ask this question!
Every time I install Arch (on a VM for practice before the real deal), I get sent to the UEFI Interactive Shell, which doesn't show FS0 as a valid mapping. I've followed every guide out there, several youtube videos, and pulled out at least a third of my hair over the last three days.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'll try to save you some time..
The only guide you can follow is here...
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Installation_guide
The problem you might experience is, if during troubleshooting it is found that you used a youtube video or whatever..you're done.
So, at this point, the best advise I can offer is to follow the official installation guide (noted above) and if you then have problems bring them here.

Sorry, I should've been more clear -- I've followed the installation guide a half dozen times, and each time I run into this error. I've looked and looked on the wiki and haven't been able to find a solution.

Are you using Virtualbox? If so have a look at this.

Most Hypervisors are booting BIOS(legacy) by default. Check if therr is a mountpoint for
/sys/firmware/efi/efivars.
