invisible cursor in inkscape

Hi,

When selecting the "rectangle or square" tool, the cursor is invisible in the drawing field of inkscape. I did upgrade inkscape last month from version 1.1.3 to 1.1.4 but I may not have used it recently. I don't know if the problem is from the upgrade of inkscape or something else. Is there anyone having the same problem? What can be done?

Here, there quite a long that I use  I use lxde and openbox and they haven't been updated recently.  Can it be due to some modification of a configuration?

In ~/.config/lxsession/LXDE/desktop.conf I have:

...
[GTK]
sNet/ThemeName=Adwaita
sNet/IconThemeName=Adwaita
sGtk/FontName=Sans 10
iGtk/ToolbarStyle=3
iGtk/ButtonImages=1
iGtk/MenuImages=1
iGtk/CursorThemeSize=18
...

I don't even know nothing about Adwaita and how to modify cursors . Does it includes cursors? (I think the answer is yes, but I'd like confirmation).

I laso have this

$ more /usr/share/icons/default/index.theme
[Icon Theme]
Inherits=Adwaita

Re: invisible cursor in inkscape

I'm not sure, but you're problem could be like mine. Square or rectangle tool icon is a rectangle, and it's filled with active color. And when your active color is the same as the background of drawing field, cursor will be invisible on it.
