[SOLVED] arch wont boot after using balena

hello,

i downloaded balena etcher from aur using yay and flashed endeavouros to my usb stick to flash to my second hdd. after being done with my usb stick i pulled it out and put pulled out the second hdd and put back the one with arch in it but it doesn't boot back to arch.

when i go to the bios i can see that it does recognize my hdd but it does not see that its bootable

nvidia gtx 1050ti amd 3 3200g

ill give more information if needed

If you remove drives most/all UEFI implementations forget the entry associated with that drive. Reinstall your bootloader and/or set it up in the fallback path: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Unifie … ble_drives

so with an arch live USB i chroot in to my install and run "sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg" ?

No, you run the install command: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/GRUB#Installation_2 (note the green tipbox as well)

i did everything till the install grub part and it gives me the error
"grub-install: error: failed to get canonical path of airootfs"
