need to replug keyboard and mouse after every boot

after i've created the xorg.conf file with

 sudo Xorg :0 -configure

when i'm in the login i need to replug the mouse and keyboard to make them working, also after this when i boot my pc it takes too much time in the motherboard screen and i need also to replug my keyboard there to make it working and enter in the boot menu

What made you believe that would be a good idea?

There's probably a USB/UEFI issue, check the BIOS for hand-off settings and post your complete system journal.

If you have a parallel windows installation, see the 3rd link below.
In general, look out for available BIOS/UEFI updates.

Re: need to replug keyboard and mouse after every boot

thank you for the answer.
i've solved the issue by removing the battery from the mobo to reset the CMOS so my system is fine for the moment.
but why it's not a good idea to create xorg.conf with that command and how i can create it?

Re: need to replug keyboard and mouse after every boot

Because it creates a lot of cruft and the static layout is not flexible for HW changes.
So you simply create no xorg.conf at all.
If you need to apply certain settings, you augment them with specific configlets in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d

Re: need to replug keyboard and mouse after every boot

I'm not sure what you mean, but I don't expect this to be a problem w/ X11 or its configuration.
It's more likely that the device(s) or their hub will fall off the bus.

post your complete system journal

sudo journactl -b

after this has happened.

Any idea what the misbehaving usb device could be?
(Check lsusb for missing stuff - it's neither the keyboard nor the mouse)

too much acpi error in the journal if i boot linux normally

What errors in particular and did you check that windows fast start is *still* disabled (because it enables it with updates from time to time)
Some errors in the very beginning are "normal" because of broken (non spec-conform) BIOS implementations and no reason to disable ACPI.
Others might indicate a real poblem that might relate to your input device/USB issue.

btw i've redone the CMOS thing and for now the keyboard and mouse works normally

usb 1-6 means bus 1 device 6 right? it is the web cam, now i'll try to boot my pc without plug in it

Re: need to replug keyboard and mouse after every boot

You can ignore those errors and should not deactivate ACPI because of them.

Re: need to replug keyboard and mouse after every boot

normally i boot linux with acpi activated, i've deactivate acpi only to post the journal because it was unreadable with those errors

for now the issue is gone if i encounter it again i'll check if the problem is the webcam.

and also What's that entail that my crng is late?

thanks for your disposability.

Re: need to replug keyboard and mouse after every boot

"Cryptographic Random Number Generator" - the systems ability to create "randomness".
See the BoottimeEntropyStarvation link I posted before.

thanks for your disposability.
