tty from gnome get black screen

Hi!

I'm using an Apple MacBook Pro 15-Inch "Core i7" 2.5 Mid-2014 (DG) Specs 11,3 with Arch linux and Gnome 40 running with Wayland.
Video adapter is the NVIDIA GK107M [GeForce GT 750M Mac Edition] rev a1
Today I have installed the Nvidia driver using the nvidia pacman package. Everything seem to work properly but after installing Nvidia driver i can't no more enter in the tty console from Gnome pressing CTRL ALT F1-6. Before I was using nouveau driver and with it tty used to work.

What can I do? Can you help me please?

I waited a lot but unfortunately nothing happened. I still have black screens...
should I try changing something in the grub configuration?

If you're using grub you could try https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/GRUB/T … ramebuffer

nothing happened

Does the current VT still visually respond to input / update stuff or does it freeze (until you return to it)
If it doesn't freeze, can you change the VT w/ "chvt"?

I tried both ( GRUB_TERMINAL_OUTPUT=console GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD_LINUX=text)
but unfortunately nothing changed.

If i understand...

pressing alt + ctrl + f2-f6 i have black screen, i tried all with the same black screen.
pressing alt + ctlrl + f1 i can get back to the gnome interface, without any freezing.

Does the font of the boot messages become bigger?
Did you "grub-mkconfig" or just edit the defaults file (which in an by itself does nothing)?

from the gnome virtual terminal and i obtained the same black screen, i can co back to gnome with ctrl + alt + f1

Activating the grub option "GRUB_TERMINAL_OUTPUT=console" i obtain grub boot panel in the middle of screen instead of the top-left and full screen. after grub splash fonts are the same as usual (aligned on the left )

yes i did, for example "GRUB_TERMINAL_OUTPUT=console" produced something but unfortunately didn't resolve the black screen problem.
with "GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD_LINUX=text" i don't see any differences.

Should i go back to the nouveau driver?

Depends on how desperate you are to get a text console (and why)
How do you start gnome? GDM?
