i3wm / bspwn applications lagging

So i`ve moved to arch again recently and having a issue that I never had before in other distros so the problem is whenever I am interacting with an application for example steam or discord it lags alot one example would be scrolling but in chromium works perfectly then I tried using another wm then I tried awesomewm and that problem didn`t happen there everything was working smooth but I would like to fix the problem on i3, I couldn`t find any problem related to this on forums.

Please post your xorg log and: do you run a compositor (eg. picom) along i3?

No, I don`t use any compositor only fresh i3-gaps.

I assume this has nothing to do with the actual WM but when it's started.

Make sure to add the kernel parameter AND the modules to the initramfs, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Kernel … _KMS_start

I have done it but problem still persists, but I noticed it only happens when I have the app windowed and not on full screen

Re: i3wm / bspwn applications lagging

At least you're no longer using software GL; so that's ruled out.
Is the problem restricted to input of is it lagging in general?
Is it only scrolling?
Does it matter whether you use the mouse wheel or the scrollbar slider?

No. It doesn`t matter if I`m using scroll or slider its lagging in general for example in steam if I would go through my game list there would be a delay on the select animation or if I scrolled it would massively lag same happen to discord but on steam only happens when I have two or more windows openned which doesnt happen on a de or awesomewm.
