vim related packages is active?

Hello, I am vim user on Arch Linux. 
There is no update to vim and several related packages since May 2021. 
Current version in arch repo is outdated. 
Vim related packages is active?

nb. that the current  version of vim is 8.2
The last number is a git tag that gets updated wit pretty much every commit/push/merge on github

So to claim it being "outdated" you probably have to make a case why a more recent patchlevel is required, eg. https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/70467
