How to use Arch Linux with Secure boot?

Hello,
i wanna try to install Arch Linux on my moms PC. Sadly I was setting a BIOS password 3 years ago and I forgot the password. I don’t want to disassemble the Laptop.

Can someone explain how to use Arch Linux with secure boot on GRUB. I am thankful for any help.

Re: How to use Arch Linux with Secure boot?

Go to the arch wiki page and enter "Secure Boot" in the search box at the upper right hand corner of the page.

Please make it a habit to search there first before posting questions here.

My UEFI complain about „secure boot violation“ and even if I enroll key from hash it doesn’t work

Re: How to use Arch Linux with Secure boot?

If you go to the lengths of setting a UEFI password it's likely that you will need to actually get in there and add a relevant secureboot entry/enabling enrolling your own key. So I doubt you are going to get around a reset. What laptop model is this? E.g. I know for a fact that Acers will not accept any custom entry that isn't added via their own firmware tool.
