[SOLVED] Firefox always in dark mode when using system theme

I am trying to understand from where Firefox is deciding to use dark mode as system mode.
This makes google search results, github and other websites show pages in dark mode which I would like to avoid.

I am using Sway.

My current GTK theme:

% gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme
'adwaita'

I've found out the issue, sorry for the noise

~ % cat .config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       10:54
[Settings]
gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme=1

I've seen your report but as this is a genuine problem others might stumble on as well, why not just declare as [SOLVED] instead.
