I installed via archinstall script. Key choices were Desktop KDE, Network Manger, and Grub
I later installed cups and my printer drivers using either PPD file from manufacturer or AUR driver. Both network printers were installed and configured using the localhost:631 page of CUPS. Both printers are working.
What is missing is the printer icon in the system tray/panel of KDE and in the Settings for KDE, there is no Printer category.
Is there a way to add these?

You'll want to install the print-manager package.

Thanks again. installing packages print-manager and system-config-printer and a reboot has solved this issue.
