I've got this issue, so recently I've decided to install drivers for my AMD ATI Radeon 7480HD to hopefully solve some Proton issues and performance. I installed all of the packages necessary for it, but when I go to set the KMS module for the radeon in my /etc/mkinitcpio.conf and regenerate that, the system shows "Booting [linux kernel arch version]" for one millisecond and then restarts
Might be a simple issue to some but I've scoured for answers and I just don't know????? Any help would be appreciated.
This might be little information but this is for context if you want more info about it then ask me. I'm new here.

What did you try and use beforehand? Can you boot if you reverse your changes? In general this doesn't contain much to go by, try to see if you get more output by adding debug to your kernel cmdline: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Kernel_parameters
