[SOLVED] wine conflicting with 64bit and 32bit libraries

Hello. I wanted to install Wine on my Arch Linux install. I already enabled the multilib repo. But some packages are conflicting, for example, lib32-libcap can't be installed because libcap is already present, here is a full list of the dependencies: https://pastebin.com/sCjU1xh6 (pacman messages are in German)

Looks like a partial update problem. Update your entire system. If you have testing enabled, you also need multilib-testing, but *only* if you have testing.

Re: [SOLVED] wine conflicting with 64bit and 32bit libraries

Please paste the full output of...

LC_ALL=C pacman -Syu

surrounded by [⁣code] [⁣/code] tags.

There's no need to use a paste service for such small amounts of output, especially not pastebin. Please read CoC - Pasting pictures and code.

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan
