Hi
I'm trying to install arch for first time. Downloaded and mount archlinux-2021.08.01-x86_64.iso in Hyper-V, but I got error
: : Mounting 'dev/disk/by-label/ARCH_202108' to '/run/archiso/bootmnt'
Wating 30 seconds for device /dev/disk/by-label/ARCH_202108 ...
ERROR: 'dev/disk/by-label/ARCH_202108' device did not show up after 30 seconds...
Falling back to interactive prompt
You can try to fix the problem manually, log out when you are finished
sh: can't access tty; job control turned offThere are few posts about it, but the strange part is the previous release works fine on same VM config.
2021.07 ISO works without error and goes to "root@archiso".
It's possible there is a problem with Hyper-v and current release?
Thanks

Hi
I faced the same problem.
Hyper-V seemed to eject iso image on boot process unexpectedly.
You can continue to boot by the followings.
* wait 30 sec.
* insert the arch linux install iso image into the VM again.
* run 'udevadm trigger'
* run 'exit'
I could continue the boot process by this method.

Thanks
Wired bug, but the udevadm command works.
