[SOLVED] Touchpad not detected at all

Hello! So, I have a new laptop, and the touchpad doesn't get detected at all. It does work, I can use it in the BIOS normally, but I have booted a couple of live Linux USBs just to be sure (Manjaro and PopOS), and it didn't work in either of them.
My laptop is an ASUS TUF F15 FX506HM, and the touchpad... I have no idea. I did my fair share of internet browsing, and searching only the laptop model and the word 'touchpad' brings up many Linux-related forum posts with close to no answers, so it isn't only my problem. Searching on basic info on how to make your touchpad work on LInux, I noticed that it should appear if I use either xinput or libinput, but it doesn't. Here are their outputs

$ xinput list

I am running on the normal Linux kernel (ex. not LTS or Zen), I have done a system upgrade too just to be sure, but still nothing

So, what do I have to do? If the device would've shown up in either of these, it would've been easy since I just had to search up the device and what driver I should install. But I don't even know that.

Re: [SOLVED] Touchpad not detected at all

The problem... solved itself..? Maybe an update added the required drivers

Libinput identifies the touchpad as:

Device: ELAN1203:00 04F3:307A Touchpad
Kernel: /dev/input/event258
Group: 8
Seat: seat0, default
Size: 101x52mm
Capabilities: pointer gesture
Tap-to-click: disabled
Tap-and-drag: enabled
Tap drag lock: disabled
Left-handed: disabled
Nat.scrolling: disabled
Middle emulation: n/a
Calibration: n/a
Scroll methods: *two-finger edge
Click methods: none
Disable-w-typing: enabled
Accel profiles: flat *adaptive
Rotation: n/a

And XInput identifies it as:

⎜ ↳ ELAN1203:00 04F3:307A Mouse id=15 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ ELAN1203:00 04F3:307A Touchpad id=16 [slave pointer (2)]

Marking this as solved now.
