How do you type something like this in BBcode?

I am pretty sure I have done this before,, but I just don't remember how I did it. And I don't even know what they are called so I can't even search for it. How do I type something like this (the phrase that says nvcc or gcc or /opt/cuda ) ?

There is a link at the bottom left of every text box...

# edit: if you are referring to inline code, you can't: it's a code block, or just use backticks.

Well, I did see the BBcode help link before posting the question and I could not find what I am looking for. And I did try backticks and they are not working... `asdf`.

Well, the link makes clear, and I reiterated it, that BBCode does not support inline code, only blocks.

BBCode does support inline code, but FluxBB does not.

The lead dev of FluxBB allegedly confirmed the implementation. Not sure what happened with it. The FluxBB site is down for me. Maybe Arch Forum is not updated or the feature didn't make it.

Arch uses the most recent fluxbb release (v1.6 was never released). The FluxBB upstream is basically dead, there is one personal fork keeping it working on newer php versions: https://github.com/MioVisman/FluxBB_by_Visman

Can we please have an inline code option implemented? It would help forum readability a LOT. Even creating the `[icode][/icode]` would be helpful, or allowing a styling option like a painful:

[span style="font-family: monospace; background-color: #F9F9F9; padding: 2px;"]your_code_here[/span]

would be helpful.
