Audio worked fine before with pulse until a couple of weeks ago. Now the internal speakers have an issue. speaker-test seems to work but no sound happens. Nothing is muted or low volume in alsa-mixer, tried automute on/off, and the right sound card seems to be default/in use. Pavucontrol also looks proper--correct device, same profiles as before when it worked, Playback and Output tabs show sound.
I also tried switching profiles in pavucontrol, but not sure which should make sense, and there's a ton in there. The ones that worked before were "Off" for the top "Built-in Audio" and "Analog Stereo Duplex" for the bottom "Built-in Audio."
Still using pipewire. I tried switching back to pulse, and tried removing both and only using alsa, but same problems.
