Weird graphics corruption after system update

I ran

pacman -Syyu

today and I've noticed weird graphics corruption start: https://youtu.be/5hz51CjflDE & https://youtu.be/ZtVWY8fMQeo. I've uninstalled the Nvidia drivers on the off chance it was somehow impacting anything. I've noticed that turning on compositing seems to fix the issue.

Kernel: 5.13.12-arch1-1 & 5.10.60-1-lts (I've tried both)
KDE w/ SDDM
Dell Precision 5550 laptop
GPUs: Intel CometLake-H GT2 & Nvidia Quadro T2000 Max-Q
CPUs: i7-10750H

Re: Weird graphics corruption after system update

Remove xf86-video-intel if installed. That said there's a known regression with the current mesa and it's iris driver: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=269004

Re: Weird graphics corruption after system update

Ah. My search skills let me down. Sorry for the double-post. What driver ends up being used if I uninstall xf86-video-intel?

Re: Weird graphics corruption after system update

The xorg built-in modesetting which uses glamor/OpenGL for the 2D operation xf86-video-intel would normally be used for. It is quite known for causing issues especially on KDE
