After some recent update, Spyder (which is outdated) and Octave GUI, the text editing window, started to misbehave. When scrolling up or down, the text bleed to other lines, also appears on the interface. Menus delay to appear, the shadow of the icons. Like if the pixels were somehow scrambled or slow to update. Looks really weird and uggly
Tried screen capture, but the screed grabber refresh the image so it looks right.
Not sure how to explain the issue. It bothers me on text, not on video (because I don't watch them so often)

I have Octave installed, run it, and I didn't found any misbehavior with GUI. What graphics card, drivers and desktop environment do you use? Xserver or wayland?

Please post your xorg log and drop xf86-video-intel

Sorry for the bad OP. Thanks for the replies
I use i3 on Xserver. I have the same problem on another laptop. Both use Intel driver. It might be that I don't have picom enabled, but it has never given these issues. Firefox is fine. TexStudio is fine. Gimp and Inkscape also fine. Featherpad is having issues with the text and menus, just like Octave and Spyder

Looks like it's Qt related?
Anything related in your updates?

Potentially, https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 8#p1989018 which identified a regression in mesa.
