AverTV303: Not working - which modules and parameters?

In the x.17 kernel I had modules loaded in this order: tda9887, cx88xx card=6 tuner=38 and cx8800. The new kernel does not contain the tda9887 module, the two other can't provoke video0 device to capture signal. How to make the card fully functional? Any user with the same card working OK? Or some kernel bug? Thanks a lot!
