Xbox One Controller through Steam Link not being registered

I have gone through the trouble of mapping out all of my games with the Xbox One Wireless USB Dongle and my controller. The problem is, now when I set up my Xbox One controller with my Steam Link and connect into my game, on certain emulators, (Dolphin-emu, Citra, Yuzu) my user input isn't being registered, while with others (Retroarch, Redream) work perfectly.

I looked closer into the Dolphin-emu settings and it looks like when I use my Xbox controller normally (through the Wireless USB Dongle and the xow service running...) the device being used is:

evdev/0/Xbox One Wireless Controller

And when I'm running everything through Steam Link I see these devices in Dolphin-emu:

XInput2/0/Virtual core pointer
evdev/0/Microsoft X-Box 360 pad
evdev/1/Microsoft X-Box 360 pad

but none of them seem to register any controller input!

How can I coerce the input from Steam link to computer to conform to the 'evdev/0/Xbox One Wireless Controller' input so I don't need to have two configurations for the two ways that I play? (I never needed to do this on Windows, it all just worked with the one configuration out of the box.)

Has anyone else seen this problem?
