How do I default X11 monitor configuration

I just installed Arch for the first time.
I have a Dell 7490 with a WD19 dock.
At different times during the configuration, the laptop, and two DP monitors have worked, but the two DP monitors have not worked at the same time.
My DP monitors are a Viotek and a Dell
At the moment, my laptop display and the Viotek work
I have also tried the Dell with the HDMI port, with the same results.
There are no problems when I dock my Windows laptop.

I want to default the X11 monitor configuration, since xrandr will not enable the Dell and xrandr will not delete any monitor configurations.
I have Googled and cannot find where Arch keeps the monitor configurations.
I just want to default the monitor configuration and start over to see if I can get the laptop and both DB displays to work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: How do I default X11 monitor configuration

Getting monitors working depends on videocard, driver and monitor working together .
You can't just add some monitor configuration and expect it to work .

We need information about your setup to be able to help you.
please post lspci -k and xorg log with and without the dock attached.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Re: How do I default X11 monitor configuration

There isn't a default monitor configuration, it's all auto-detected by X at run time.

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan
