Black screen in Plasma Wayland, NVIDIA

After installing some package updates recently, Plasma Wayland is showing a black screen when I log in. Based on a sound effect it seems that my auto-start programs are still running, and when I press Alt-Tab, the part of the screen that would normally show the task switcher desktop effect becomes light gray.

I have the [testing] repo enabled, and noticed that my version of egl-wayland (1.1.8-1) is from [testing] while plasma and nvidia packages are from [extra], so I downgraded egl-wayland to the version in [extra] (1.1.7-1), and that allowed me to log in and see the desktop, but after I used it for a minute, the black screen problem came back.

For now I'm back to use plasma X11 and I'll try again when there are updates, but does anyone know what might be causing the problem?

Well, Wayland Plasma on Nvidia is pretty fucked, so I wouldn't rely on that and there's a very good chance this is the problem.

Other than that, without logs and/or more information about your system, no way to tell.
