Well? What kind of errors are you getting?

Try Lutris, or OpenMW

I've been playing openmw for several years now (datafiles from GOTY GOG version) and it works much better then vanilla morrowind.

Re: I've gotten several games to work with commercial wine

I have gotten an error when i type "openmw" into command prompt:

[krazybastid@archlinux ~]$ openmw

[14:45:44.918 I] Loading config file: /etc/openmw/openmw.cfg

[14:45:44.921 E] No content file given (esm/esp, nor omwgame/omwaddon). Aborting...
[krazybastid@archlinux ~]$

can anybody show me why i'm getting an error and does crossover linux cross platform with openmw if so or not i can just parce my crossover installation to linux.

Re: I've gotten several games to work with commercial wine

Archuser 78 gamer, you need to import the datafiles into openmw .

The 2nd link posted by ammako is the one you need to follow.
There should be a menu item for the launcher, but if you prefer to start it from CLI use openmw-launcher

Many of openmw settings can be done from the launcher, I suggest you check all tabs of it.

I got Morrowind to run perfect with Parcing over OpenMW cofiguration to my commercial wine 'Crossover' install. It was pretty self explanatory. Thanks guys.

Re: I've gotten several games to work with commercial wine

I'm having a problem with an upgrade from a pay for wine program that upgraded from 20.0 a year ago to 22.0 now. The controller says its recognized in wine after i configured jstest and loaded the configuration to the registry file in winecfg i needed to.i hsd to disable several .dlls and enable other ones to just native not native, builtin and a few to just builtin. What I'm stuck on now is I need to configure my winecfg to adjust other .dlls. When I get responses i will be more specific. i lost my current paragraph when i was searching on the web some bookmarks i deleted with more specific configuration. I use a "Logitech Dual Action" gamepad it worked straight outta the box when i was doing windows xp in my 20s. I don't understand it was a perfect controller for that game. I think the commercial wine program i use is based on windows 10 maybe the wine build is too but im not sure. that explains why windows 10 is not good ruining old games dropping so called 'legacy' function.
