materia-gtk-theme breaks LibreOffice

Hello,

I've used the package materia-gtk-theme as my icon theme for a while now, but earlier this year it started breaking LibreOffice. I've been getting around this by just using an older version of the package, but I'd like to actually fix the problem.

materia-gtk-theme-20200916-1 was the last version of the package to work. materia-gtk-theme-20210322-1 was the first version to break LibreOffice.

By broken, I mean the interface turns black. On the main splash screen for LibreOffice, the buttons on the side that allow you to enter the different applications are all black, and many important fields inside each application are black as well. For instance, in the spreadsheet editor, the field where formulas are typed in is black. So many buttons and fields just turn pitch black, that it renders the entire office suite useless.

It doesn't seem to break any other application. Thunar for instance still works.

I'd upload screenshots to show you, but it doesn't appear the Arch forum supports this?

Any help is appreciated.

You must first upload your image to some hosting suggests postimages
And after adding the image, copy the thumbnail link in the forum, and paste it in this forum.

Ammako, that looks very helpful! Thank you!

I'm not sure I'm doing it correctly though. In his post here: https://github.com/nana-4/materia-theme … -543731136
He provides three commands to run to replace the icon theme for just LibreOffice with Adwaita. I made sure I had Adwaita installed, and then I ran those three commands. The problem persists however.

That was written in March. Buddy, we all got jobs, but you made a change in your application that caused it to break. It can be that hard to roll back the change, until such time as it can be fixed?
