[Solved] Urxvt Key Mapping for Paste

I have spent *way* too much time on this and am finally going to ask for help.

I want to use Alt-V to paste into Urxvt.  This does not work.
I want to use Alt-C to copy from Urxvt.  This works.
I can paste using a three-finger tap on my touchpad (middle click) after I do an Alt-C
I can paste using <ins>

I can copy from Urxvt and paste in my browser.  I can copy from Urxvt and paste in Emacs.

I just cannot to Alt-V.

The Alt and V keystrokes show up in Xev.

Using i3 at present, but same thing happens in Plasma.  M-v is not mapped in .i3/conf

I think this used to work and stopped after an update -- a long while back.

Did I miss something?

And, never mind.

I had urxvt-perls-git installed (AUR) rather than urxvt-perls (Community).   I had a reason for that, but I'll be damned if I remember why.
