Plasma Wayland Virtualbox blurry interface and vms

I have 2256x1504 screen in my laptop.
I started to use Wayland because in general it works much better with scaling. Currently 200%

When I start Virtualbox, the whole interface is blurry and virtual machine inside is blurry too. Arch is host and guest is Kali.
I tried Arch wiki suggestion VirtualBox

But when I try to start machine with command

QT_SCALE_FACTOR=0.5 VirtualBox --startvm "Kali-Linux-2021.2-virtualbox-amd64"

There is a small window with some error, but it is hidden because the window is small, and I'm not able to read anything.

When I run the same command without scaling, there is an error:

--startvm is an option for the VirtualBox VM runner (VirtualBoxVM) application, not the VirtualBox Manager.

But there is nothing like VirtualBoxVM in my system (terminal doesn't see it)
But I thought that it may be vboxmanage. I can run Kali with

QT_SCALE_FACTOR=0.5 vboxmanage startvm Kali-Linux-2021.2-virtualbox-amd64

but virtual machine screen moves out of the screen, and it is still blurry.

p.s.
I checked the same thing in Gnome.
Virtualbox starts there with sharp nice interface, but virtual machine don't have any scaling. It is sharp, but it everything is small.

Re: Plasma Wayland Virtualbox blurry interface and vms

I'm aware that bumping is now allowed, but I wasn't able to find a solution till now.
The HiDPI solution from the Wiki would be fine, but it's not working.

During testing I've found that with the Steam there is a problem too.
On KDE interface has right size but it is blurred. On Gnome it's not scalled so it's sharp.

Re: Plasma Wayland Virtualbox blurry interface and vms

Ok
I have a little update to this problem.

By default, font settings in Plasma doesn't have "Force font DPI" enabled
and
In Display and Monitor, scale is set to 200%

System looks beautiful. Sharp and easy to read. But Virtualbox is blurry and it causes eye pain.
I changed the settings.
Forced fonts DPI to 200 (calculated it from my physical screen dimension [xrandr | grep -w connected
])
And I set scale to 100%

After restart, Virtualbox looks very good. Well... it looks sharp.
But system is much worse. Plasma elements are small, mouse cursor is small. And system interface looks not as good.

I'm aware that I can manually rescale panels, and change cursor size, but it would be a lot of work on something that works perfect now.

Is there a way to just change settings for VirtualBox?
So the system will run with auto DPI and 200% scaling and VirtualBox will have 100% scaling and DPI forced to 200 or something?

Re: Plasma Wayland Virtualbox blurry interface and vms

I'm not able to find a solution but there there is some workaround.
I just can change screen scaling from 200% to 100% on host
And
In virtualbox global settings I can change scaling to 200%
Pros:
Virtualbox mIn menu is sharp
Guest system is sharp. There are some glitches but acceptable
Cons:
Whole plasma is tiny so I have to change this settings every time

How can I do this in terminal and not gui system settings?
I could create an aliases just tondo this. Nit perfect but if there is no better solution...
