I have Samsung ml-1210 printer here and after the grand testing move and all the updates it stopped working. Now finally I got a clue what could be done and managed to make it work!
I am using the standard printer driver from Samsung site and downgraded the cups package to version 1.1.23-5. I got the old package from here: ftp://ftp.nluug.nl/pub/metalab/distribu … nt/os/i686. I also had to make soft links to openssl stuff - the soft links were libssl.so.0.9.7 and libcrypto.so.0.9.7 referencing to libssl.so and libcrypto.so.
OFFTOPIC: How could I get older versions of PKGBUILDS? I think the Arch CVS has them but I have no idea how to make them visible.
