After today's update (bringing xf86-input-libinput from 1.1.0-1 to 1.2.0-1) my Logitech MX mouse showed an extremely sensitive behaviour with the scroll wheel: Even the tiniest movement (breathing on the mouse, moving it) was translated into a motion signal. This became inconvenient in documents where the text was scrolling accordingly (i.e. jumping back and forth 3/4 of a line) and in the gnome shell where the desktops where switched in a warp-like manner in overview mode).
Going back to xf86-input-libinput 1.1.0-1 immediately solved this issue.
A work around was to switch on stepwise scrolling on the MX. This might indicate a new sensitivity value for the scroll wheel or some kind of change with the debouncing of small movements.
There are no individual settings for the MX mouse and X11 is running standard on nvidia. Note that this has not been observed after the update to libinput-1.19 (2020-09-17) as in this other post (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=269734).
Update: It seems that the strange behaviour is caused by the recent addition of hi-res scrolling

actually no, different mice (Corsair vs. Logitech MX) and MX does not use the ckb-next daemon and driver which solved the problem of no wheel scroll at all.
