AMD_VULKAN_ICD=RADV not working anymore

Since the mesa update yesterday AMD_VULKAN_ICD=RADV vulkaninfo just gives me "The selected gpu (0) is not a valid GPU index. The available GPUs are in the range of 0 to 18446744073709551615."

The old behaviour is with VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/radeon_icd.i686.json:/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/radeon_icd.x86_64.json is working again.

Any idea why that is?

Re: AMD_VULKAN_ICD=RADV not working anymore

AMD_VULKAN_ICD comes from the amdvlk package, is that installed on your system and which version ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
