[SOLVED] Computer Doens't Boot into GRUB, rather boots into EFI Shell

Furthermore there is no option for GRUB on my motherboard's boot menu.

I have a MSI motherboard and from my research I have gathered that it has some issues with finding EFI files.

This issue propped up because I accidentally wiped my /boot/efi setup to clean out other boot loaders I had been trying to use.

I chrooted in and did the grub-install on /dev/sda as well as the grub-mkconfig -o etc...

Still does not work, how screwed am I?

also GRUB doesn't show up after running efibootmgr -v

Nevermind this is [Solved], boot partition was wrong filesystem type. I'm retarded
