Audio/Mic only starts working when starting up on battery power

I have recently been experiencing with my pipewire-pulseaudio-alsa audio set-up that had been working without much problems in the past on my laptop.

I am weirdly been able to fix it in the times that I have tried by starting up my laptop without being plugged into a power source on battery. Not sure how to consistently fix this issue. I have already tried reinitialising with alsactl_init and restarting the socket and services.
