[SOLVED]Mechanical keyboard doens't use layout until it gets rebooted

Hi,
Context: I have a laptop with Arch. I put latam layout for keyboard. It works fine. After buying a Mechanical-switch keyboard and connect it, the layout in the Mechanical-switch keyboard is not the same that in the system. But the laptops's keyboard works fine. Just until I rebooted the laptop the Mechanical-switch keyboard changes to the latam layout. But if I close the laptop(suspend) and open it again, the layout of the Mechanical-switch keyboard changes to US.
How can I change the layout just from the Mechanical-switch keyboard instead of rebooting everytime it changes or why it changes its layout after suspend?

Try running the following in a terminal after connecting your keyboard:

setxkbmap latam

If this resolves the problem, you can save it as a script and run it every time you connect your keyboard - either with udev rules, or via some shortcut.
