problem using GPU in minecraft

I'm trying to get minecraft to work with my GPU instead of my iGPU to get higher FPS.
I've been unsuccessful thus far.

Specs:
Host: 81T3 Legion Y540-17IRH-PG0
CPU: Intel i5-9300H (8) @ 4.100GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Mobile
Kernel: 5.14.8-arch1-1
Shell: bash 5.14.8-arch1-1
WM: i3-gaps
GPU drivers: NVIDIA(proprietary)

Sanity-Checks:
-I have installed my Drivers and my GPU does show up on nvtop
-I have tried to restart my Computer many times.
-my computer doesn't have any other problems and works effortlessly on everything else I use it for.

What I've tried:
I attempted to follow to the wiki's tutorial on PRIME GPU offloading but after that prime-run-ing the minecraft-launcher was to no avail (if i was meant to do something differently I'm sorry).

P.S:
In case you need me too show more information, that I haven't provided, I'll be happy to do so.
I am not a native English speaker so i apologize for grammar, spelling and syntax mistakes.
Thanks for taking the time to read thru my problem and helping me out.

Re: problem using GPU in minecraft

What's "prime-run glxinfo -B"?
If it's the nvidia driver, what do you mean by "prime-run-ing the minecraft-launcher was to no avail"?
Does minecraft somewhere expose the used GPU/renderer (so you know what it thinks it's using)?
