Bluetooth adapter disappears randomly

My Laptop is an Asus FX505 DT and the card used for wifi and bluetooth is rtl8821ce. There are no logs to show because the adapter disappears.....like the logs show it working fine then it's just gone.....I checked for it's existence using all other commands like lspci etc. The only command that shows any output is the lsmod command which just shows me that all the modules are loaded. This issue is solved after booting into windows and then booting back into linux. I want to know how to solve this problem without using windows.

Always a pain when you finally find someone with the exact same issue, but no solution :(

Card is RTL8822BE

Same on this 2019 Dell 3470 Core i5 desktop machine w/Qualcomm QCA9565 Bluetooth 4.0, Arch + KDE Plasma 6, Zen & LTS. Totally disappeared. Had to install Windows to resurrect it using their Troubleshooters.

Not the worst thing to happen running Linux flavors the past 25 years.

sounds like a case of the 3rd link below, but not for c00ter …

I should note that simply installing Windows did not solve my problem. Following their Troubleshooter's "advice" to do a hard power down by holding  the power button for a full 10 seconds, followed by unplugging the power cord for a half-minute or so, was what provided the cure when running Windows. I had deselected my Arch SSD in the BIOS (1 Win SSD, 1 Arch SSD), after it had failed, and will re-enable & see what's what later today. I'm not yet caffeinated enough.

Thank you for the links. they jogged something loose enough, that I recalled a similar incident several years ago on a Dell laptop (Intel BT chipset), and using the same "solution." Since unplugging it from power for a bit would have allowed any capacitor-like chipsets to discharge...? This desktop PC has a QCA9565 BT chipset. I did *not* however check WiFi as I'm CAT connected to the router (3 ft.).

I'm almost 72 now, and sometimes time just slips a bit--maybe into an alternate universe, I dunno. I do know I love the Arch Forums.   Thank you very much.
