Hi
Some packages depend on pipewire-media-session, when I believe all dependencies are fulfilled if another session manager (typically WirePlumber) is installed instead.
Shouldn't the dependencies be corrected to be either one or the other ?

As a comparison I believe that on fedora pre F35, installing wireplumber removes pipewire-media-session (needs verification). Post F35, Wireplumber is default.

Thanks.
I understand from the comments that it won't be addressed ?

Take a look at this one https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/72283
In the meantime, I've worked around this issue by masking pipewire-media-session.service and enabling wireplumber.service
