[Solved] Subscribing to bugs

Hi.
I would like to receive email notifications for all bugs regarding the birdfont package in the Arch bug tracker. Is there a way to do that?
Cheers
Johan

Yes. Create an account on the bugtracker, and go here: https://bugs.archlinux.org/?project=5&string=birdfont Then click the Watch Task link for the respective bug(s).

Thank you. Will that notify me when there is a new task? It looks like I only will watch the tasks that already has been submitted.

No. As far as I know, you can only subscribe to either existing tasks, or an RSS/Atom feed of all new ones.

Re: [Solved] Subscribing to bugs

Hold up: there is another option that I just noticed. On the search page https://bugs.archlinux.org/?project=5&string=birdfont you can select all of the bugs and subscribe to those.

Again, you won't get notifications when they are created, that is for the staff.

Re: [Solved] Subscribing to bugs

I made a feature request. I think it might be useful for other upstream developers as well.

Cool. Please remember to mark your thread as [Solved] by editing your first post and prepending it to the title.

Re: [Solved] Subscribing to bugs

The current bugs.archlinux.org which uses flyspray is intended to be dropped and bug tracking transitioned to a gitlab based solution which may provide this feature.

Re: [Solved] Subscribing to bugs

smile Gitlab is one of my favorite projects but I am no t sure if I can wrap my head around how the concept of packages will fit into the git repository paradigm.
