HAL/ivman unmount stopped working after hal upgrade->0.5.
Hello all,
After the recent upgrade ivman no longer unmounts CD/DVD devices when ejected or usb storage devices when disconnected.
'lshal --monitor' doesn't always correctly reports system events like the ones I mentioned earlier.
I have the same problem on my debian sid installation that also has hal 0.5.8.1.
Has anyone else the same problem ? I thought I should ask before sending any bug reports to AL or upstream...

It seems that lots of people, including myself, are having problems. I thought I read in another post that upgrading to the newest DBUS solves the problem, but I don't have 'testing' (Arch 64), so I can't confirm this.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried dbus, hal & ivman packages from testing but still the same. Anything else ?
