Freezing the computer - fail ttm_validate

With each KDE update my computer deteriorates. Less smooth, freezes in the workflow (probably mainly on GTK + applications).
Now I'm having trouble launching Thunderbird. Thunderbird exits the KDE session. It supposedly provides access to the CLI from the autoram, but you can't even restart the computer.

I executed ↓ while starting "Thunderbird"

sudo journalctl -f

Re: Freezing the computer - fail ttm_validate

Nouveau is in general not the most stable driver. You can try removing xf86-video-nouveau to fall back to the modesetting xorg driver which might prove more stable, otherwise consider the nvidia-390xx proprietary driver. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/nvidia-390xx-dkms/

You'll need linux-headers for the DKMS module to build properly if you go that route.

Re: Freezing the computer - fail ttm_validate

I use "Nouveau" because the windows are maximizing to 1 monitor, not all 8 monitors.

I am considering closed drivers. At the moment,

Re: Freezing the computer - fail ttm_validate

I think we've been her a couple of times and I suggested to use nvidia+xinerama+ https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/fakexrandr-git/ ?
