[SOLVED] Can not see pointer and terminal text in xterm

Hello everyone,

fresh arch install, i3wm, using xterm for anything CLI-related.

so yeah, I can not see my pointer in xterm, nor any text. It may be connected with my .Xresources file, in which I can somewhat style xterm. But I cannot access it right now, all I see is the robbyrussell zsh arrow and tilde, either in green or red. I can not see what I type, nor any error messages.

CTRL + ALT + F2-F6

does not send me to another TTY.

Please send help!

Do your commands still get run? You can try running

 xterm

to see if another window pops up.

Thank you for your suggestion. I did do this and it opened another instance of xterm in the same workspace, but the problem persisted.

Thank you! That solved it. I was able to edit my .Xresources.
