[SOLVED] Pulseaudio not detecting cards

Hello everyone,

I did an update and I believe pulseaudio broke.

pacmd list

yields 0 cards.

$ lspci | grep Audio
00:1f.3 Audio device: Intel Corporation Device a3f0
01:00.1 Audio device: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Ellesmere HDMI Audio [Radeon RX 470/480 / 570/580/590]
$ fuser -v /dev/snd/*
                                    USER        PID ACCESS COMMAND
/dev/snd/pcmC0D0c:   horus      5998 F...m pulseaudio
/dev/snd/pcmC0D0p:   horus      5998 F...m pulseaudio
$ fuser -v /dev/dsp
Specified filename /dev/dsp does not exist.

I am desperate over here, with no idea of what to do.

UPDATE: I have uninstalled pulseaudio, deleted /etc/pulse and reinstalled it. Then, I enabled it as a user level service, and now my cards are detected. By I still don't have any sound:

I am also fairly certain my card wasn't named "loopback" before, but I don't know how relevant that is.

Re: [SOLVED] Pulseaudio not detecting cards

I've found the solution. Unfortunately, I had been incredibly busy and forgot to post it here. I am doing it now.
I am also not entirely certain on the details, but the rough idea is:
The "loopback" card thing was actually a kernel module that was overwriting the loading process of my normal, actual, sound cards. It had been installed with the droidcam package from the AUR. Once I uninstalled it and remade my old configuration for pulseaudio, things worked just as they did before.
