thumbnail view firefox filemanager

Hi

I am running xfce4.4 and firefox2. Is it possible to have a choise how to list objects in the filebrowser (in xp its list, detailed list, thumbnail etc).

For example. I need to upload an image to coppermine gallery. I am using firefox and klick the "browse" button. But I never get the option to use thumbnails while browsing for the image to upload.

Does this make sense? Is it a firefox or xfce thing? And is it possible to make it work better?

Re: thumbnail view firefox filemanager

it's neither ff, nor xfce .. what you are seeing is the gtk file-view/browser dialog... afaik, there is no way to change it...

Re: thumbnail view firefox filemanager

That sounds depressing. Maybe someone did a hack or enhancement or something?
Is there a workaround, browser plugins or something similar?
