Changing audio output device has no effect [SOLVED]

Hi,

Sometime in the last few days, changing the audio output using Gnome's "Sound" settings does not switch audio from applications that are currently playing audio. For example, if I am listening to audio from Audacious and change the output from my headphones to to a pair of external speakers, audio continues to play from the headphones. If I restart Audacious it will then output to the external speakers. Same with Firefox.

I am using pipewire.

Here are some commands I found from another thread, though I am not using pulseaudio so I'm not sure what the equivalent commands would have been.

# aplay -L
null
Discard all samples (playback) or generate zero samples (capture)

Re: Changing audio output device has no effect [SOLVED]

Turns out I just had to update to Kernel 5.14.14 today and the problem appears to be gone.
