Sound not working at all.

Hi,

I have an issue with my sound not working on my T480 at all. Installed ALSA, PulseAudio and pavucontrol as well. I'm using xfce4. My volume mixer icon disappeared from the top panel as well.

Re: Sound not working at all.

Nothing useful in these outputs, try

aplay -l
amixer -c0
pacmd list-cards
sudo dmesg | grep -iE 'snd|sof'

Re: Sound not working at all.

This does look pretty dead. But also, why are you using the LTS kernel? Test the main kernel, and fwiw install sof-firmware though the current output has no pointer to that but that could just be due to the old kernel.
